Sir Ramaswami Mudaliar
Higher Secondary School has modern and well equipped
buildings put up at a cost of over Rs. 60 lakhs on
a spacious 13 acres plot. Serving the Ambattur Township and the
surrounding villages for over 38 years, the school was upgraded as a
Higher Secondary School in 1978.

& Labs
The School has a large Library with a
collection of nearly 50,000 books with open access system to
students.

separate laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. It has a
Junior Laboratory too, for High School and Middle School students.

Play
Ground
The School
has a 5 acre play ground with a track of 200 mtrs, well laid out and
well-designed courts for Basket ball, Ball badminton, Volley ball,
Tennikoit, Throwball and Khokho. The SRM School play ground has been
recognized by the Department of Sports and Physical Education.

Rainwater
Harvesting systems are implemented successfully to harness the rainwater
thereby enriching the ground water level.
Auditorium
There is an
auditorium which can accommodate 3000 students. A fully furnished library
is present in the Auditorium.
