Department of Surgery

The Department is run by experienced and eminent Surgeons Headed by the Director. Surgeries like Appendicectomy, Circumcision, Hydrocele, Hernia, Laporatomy, Fistulectomy, Fissurectomy, Mastectomy, Orchiedectomy, Thyriodectomy, Cholecystectomy, Gasterectomy Colon Surgery and other major surgeries are performed regularly. On an average, 150 Surgeries are performed every month and around 2500 Patients are seen in a month. Laparoscopic Cholecystectomies and Laproscopic Appendicectomy are done regularly.

A modern and well equipped Operation Theatre with modern state of the art technologies (like Laproscopy, C arm etc,) are being used in performing surgeries.

Department of Medicine

A group of Well experienced Doctors attend to patients through Male and Female Medical Ops. They also take care of the In-patients admitted in ICU, Male Medical Wards and Female Medical Wards.A well equipped ICU with Multipara Monitors, Ventilators and infusion pumps are made best use of by these experienced Doctors.Special Diabetology Clinic is run from Mondays to Saturdays through Doctors well qualified in Diabetology.

This Department is run by well experienced Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Major Surgeries like TAT , Abdominal & Vaginal Hysterectomies, Ovarian Cystectomies, LSCS (Cesarean), etc are performed here.

A modern labour room equipped with Cardio Toco Gram and other Foetal Monitors are used for conducting deliveries. New born babies are taken care by Paediatricians using Photo-therapy and Baby warmers.

An eminent team of Paediatricians attend to the sick children in OP as well as IP.

This hospital is well known in this area for providing complete range of immunization.

Immunization Days Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays

A well equipped NICU serves the new born babies with complications. This department serves Preterm babies, Low Birth Weight babies and Sick new borns. Not only the babies born in Stedeford but also babies born outside are also taken care of.

The department has acquired a new 3D/4D USG Machine WIPRO GE – VOLUSON 730 Expert and it also has Siemens – Sonoline G40.

The Department sees an average of 2000 patients every month and perform around 45 surgeries.

Major surgeries like Tonsiliectomy, Mastoidectomy, Stepedectomy, Septoplasty, Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery are performed here using state of art equipment like Operating ENT Microscope etc.

Department of Ophthalmology

The Department is handled by experienced opthalmologists and see an average of 1200 Patients in a month. Cataract Surgeries are conducted regularly.

Dermatology department is equipped with Cryo Surgical and Photo-therapy equipment.

Department of Cardiology

A well equipped Cardiology Department with exclusive Eco Cardiographic Machines, Treadmill & Dopplers functions under the effective care of eminent Doctors.

Cardiology Clinics are run on Mondays and Thursdays in the afternoon from 2 PM to 4 PM. Echo Tests are conducted on Wednesdays.

This Department has modern equipment like Upper GI Endoscope and Colonoscope. So far more than 8000 Gastroendoscopies have been performed.

Neurology Clinics are run on Mondays – Saturdays from 03.00 PM to 05.00 PM.

Nephrology Clinics are run on Mondays - Saturdays from 2.30 PM to 05.30 PM.

Dialysis Unit : A fully equipped dialysis unit with three state of the art dialysis machines is functioning well in the hospital.

Urology Department has acquired latest equipment and capable of performing majority of Urologic Surgeries with the help of ‘C’ Arm available in O.T.

The Dental Department is the oldest one in the Hospital.. The Services offered by this Department are Oral / Tooth Diagnosis & Medicine, Oral Radiology, Operative Dentistry, Preventive Dental Care, Paedodontics, Prosthodontics, Orthodontics, Periodontics. The Clinic has a Computerized Dental Unit.

A well equipped Physiotherapy Unit is providing supporting care to all patients needing Physiotherapy.
