Specialist Services & Clinics:
Diagnostic Services - All Times The Hospital is well Equipped with a Modern Laboratory - 24 hrs with State of Art Technologies like Chemical Analysers and other Equipments like Semi-Auto Analyzers, Electrolyte Analyzer & ELISA Strip Reader & One Touch Gluco-meter. Major Tests for the Diagnosis of Thyroid, ELISA Tests for AIDS, Cardiology, Diabetes, Hepatitis etc., are done here apart from other investigations related to Bio-chemistry, Microbiology, Clinical Pathology etc. The Hospital has a well Equipped Pleophos D/Ployskop 160MA X-ray Machine and a Genius 60 Mobile 60mA X-ray unit for taking x-rays. The Hospital has a Multi-channel ECG Machine for the Diagnosis of Cardiac Conditions and functions in the OP and the ICU (Round the Clock). Lower & Upper Limb Arteries, Gynaecological Diagnosis. The Hospital has the latest Ultra Sound Scan Machine (LOGIQ for the Diagnosis of Abdomen and Pelvic Disorders, Thyroid, Breast etc are done (Average - 25000 Scans/PA) both in the Morning & Evening from Mondays to Saturdays. Outpatient Department: Daily average patients treated/attended - 1550 patients

Educational Programmes The Hospital has been recognized for the Diplomate in National Board in General Surgery in the year 2000 (Dip NB), Which is equivalent to M.S. in General Surgery. Now the hospital is a Post Graduate Teaching Institution for medical Graduate. Multipurpose Health Workers (Female) Training School recognized by Indian Nursing Council and the Tamil Nadu Nursing Council: A Multipurpose Health Workers (Female) Training School for poor girls who have passed 10th Standard was started in the year 1977. This course is recognized by the Government and is run as per the norms laid down by the Indian Nursing Council and the Tamil Nadu Nursing Council. The Students are selected on merit basis. Multipurpose Health Workers Female Training Course This course is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and the Tamil Nadu Nursing Council for Girl Students who have passed 10th Standard. The Medium of Instruction is Tamil and in keeping with the Government Norms. Continuous Educational Programs As part of the efforts to update the knowledge in the field of Medicine and Nursing, Continuous Educational Programs - Classes and Workshops are held in the Hospital. The Hospital is equipped with a 24 hrs Ambulance Van with 2 Beds and is equipped with basic life saving equipments and to provide transportation facilities to patients from the Hospital to their residence and to referred hospitals.
